There are a handful of important words that are relevant when thoughtfully discussing style and design in relation to fashion and confidence is at the top of my list, for without it everything else sort of feels like a nonstarter in my book.
As a designer part of the job is to channel a certain level of confidence into each and every garment, which is less about personal ego and more of an understanding, and defining the narrative of the overall collection.
This is the all too important Form/Function. Your personal style is built around pieces that are completely wearable but also share a hint of self even before you have spoken a single word…and linger still, hours after you have left the room.
